Description
Fire Cement is buff coloured and has a putty-like consistency prior to curing. It is a ready-mixed blend of thermos-setting resins and inorganic filers which cure when exposed to heat. The cured mortar is temperature resistant to 1.250C
Uses
This product is equally suitable for domestic and commercial applications and offers excellent adhesion to many surfaces that are exposed to high temperatures, including:
- Building with fire bricks
- Mendingcracked or broken fire bricks
- Pointing between metal and bricks
- Jointing iron flue pipes
- Fitting continuous burning fires
Due to the solubility of this product, it is not recommended for outside use or where joints could be eroded by water.
